Disney Shares Their Famous Dole Whip Recipe To Brighten Our Days

April 13, 2020

While both Disneyland and Disney World may be closed indefinitely, we can still experience a little bit of their culinary magic at home thanks to this Dole Whip recipe.

The frosty tropical treat is consistently one of the Magic Kingdom's most popular snacks for good reason — it's delicious, refreshing, and nostalgic. And while this isn't the EXACT same recipe used in the parks, it's close enough for people to make easily at home.

According to the app, the recipe is actually quite simple

It only involves three ingredients and a blender. It doesn't get much easier than that!

Here are the directions to make a single serving (but who's really stopping with just one?):

  • 1 big scoop of ice cream
  • 4 oz of pineapple juice
  • 2 cups of frozen pineapple

Add all ingredients to a blender until it’s a delectably thick drink.

If you have a piping bag (or even a Ziploc bag with a corner cut off) scoop the icy concoction in there and squeeze it out into a cup or bowl, making sure to create the signature swirl on top. If you're feeling extra fancy, you can even pour in a little extra pineapple juice.
